Coachella 2020 Features Lineup of Powerful Women

Music lovers nationwide patiently await the drop of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival each year, and this year continued with tradition by bringing fans a hefty lineup of popular artists to look forward to.

This year’s festival contains no female headliners, but several popular women in music will be performing at the event, including Lana Del Rey, Summer Walker, Megan Thee Stallion, Charli XCX, City Girls, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kim Petras and FKA Twigs.

The lineup contains artists from a notably diverse range of genres. From rap to indie to K-Pop, several bases are represented.

This year will also feature Japanese CGI pop star Hatsune Miku, a virtual singer whose music is made through computer software.

The festival takes place annually in Indio, California. This year’s show weekends are April 10-12, 2020, and April 17-19, 2020. Weekend one is already sold out, but weekend two ticket pre-sales start online on Monday, January 6, 2020, at 12 p.m. PST.
