By  |

We’re only five days into 2020, but that doesn’t mean that those New Year’s resolutions are still feeling like a walk in the park. The week one honeymoon phase between you and your resolution is almost coming to a close, and you may be feeling like hopping off the wagon already. We’ve all heard the advice to stick to something for 21 days to make it into a habit, but how do you hold on for that long when it starts to feel like a chore?

Enter these five resources that can help make your new goals feel fun! Check out these tips to help you stick to your resolutions.

1. Start a Bullet Journal

Hoping to be more organized this year? Bullet journaling may be the way to go. You can customize your handy planner to best fit your needs, and it’s a great outlet for creative expression. Check out this super cute journal option to get your ideas flowing.

2. Track Your Nutrition

If you’re hoping to get healthier this year, there are tons of apps that can help you track your water intake, nutrients and exercise. Two popular choices are MyFitnessPal and Lifesum, which can both help you gain, maintain or lose weight.

You can also use apps like MapMyRun and Grokker to plan your daily workout routine.

3. See a Therapist

A great resolution idea is to prioritize your mental health, and the best way for many people to do that is to seek out a professional. Luckily, that’s now easier than ever with apps like BetterHelp, where you can video chat and text with a therapist for $40 to $70 per week. They even offer low income financial aid if you cannot afford the full weekly fee.

4. Manifest Your Desires

Sometimes you just need an extra push from the universe to get you on the right track. If you’re looking to try manifesting, there are tons of books and articles out there that can help you get started.

5. Start Budget Tracking

Whether you’re hoping to save up for a vacation or just trying to spend smarter, tracking your spending is essential to making sure you stick within your budget. You can do this in your bullet journal or with budget apps like Albert and Mint.
