Netflix’s dramatic biography of Britain’s royal family, “The Crown,” is bringing two royal regulars to its third season.

Olivia Colman, recent winner of an Academy Award for her role in “The Favourite,” and Helena Bonham Carter, from “Ocean’s 8” and “Into the Looking Glass,” will be heralding the roles of Queen Elizabeth and her sister, Princess Margaret, in the show’s third season.

Both actresses have experience playing royals in past roles.

Colman floored audiences as Queen Anne in “The Favourite.”

The 18th-century tale, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, followed the fight for power between cousins Abigail Masham, played by Emma Stone, and Sarah, Duchess of Marlborough, played by Rachel Weisz.

The two compete to gain the trust of a sickly Queen Anne, played by Colman.

Colman isn’t the only Queen in “The Crown.” Bonham Carter won an Academy Award for a royally powerful performance as Queen Elizabeth in “The Queen’s Speech” in 2010.

Her character served as the reason that the king recieved a speech therapist, recognizing it was imperative that the country be able to understand their king.

Bonham Carter won a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her role in the movie.

“The Crown’s” third season takes place over the years of 1964 to 1976, chronicling the older years of the Queen and her family. It premieres Nov. 17, 2019, on Netflix.
