Atlanta’s Top 2018 Entrepreneurs Announced

Thirteen Atlanta startups have been announced as honorees by TiE Atlanta’s 2018 Top Entrepreneur Awards, and three of them are women.

Moira Vetter is the CEO & Model Modo Modo’er at the MODO MODO Agency, and award-winning Atlanta marketing agency. As president of Celtic Testing Experts, Kelly Kierans has provided sales and marketing leadership to companies for more than 12 years. Known as the “Queen of Screen,” Tammy Cohen is the founder and Chief Visionary Officer of InfoMart, an WBENC-certified and NAPBS Accredited background screening service.

All three women are among the 2018 TiE Top Entrepreneur Award recipients.

The awards recognize Atlanta startups and companies that have made a minimum revenue of $2 million and no more of $100 million in 2017. The awards are based on revenue growth, profitability, sustainability, leadership, culture and innovation. TiE Atlanta invents, invests in and inspires entrepreneurs in all industries, from ideation to exit, by providing access to funding, educational programming and mentoring by local and global leaders.

The 2018 entrepreneur honorees and their companies for each category are as follows:

Upper Market Entrepreneurs:

  • Kelly Kierans, Celtic Testing Experts
  • Eric Spett, Terminus
  • Moira Vetter, MODO MODO Agency

Trailblazer Entrepreneurs:

  • Dave Currie, List Partners
  • Gregory McGraw, MacStadium, Inc.

 

The honorees represent companies in a wide range of industries, including blockchain technology, finance, Information Technology, real estate, marketing, software and more. The selected and honored entrepreneurs of Metro Atlanta will be ranked 1-10 over three categories, Middle Market, Upper Middle Market and Trailblazers by presenting sponsors, Atlanta CPA Alliance.

The honorees will be ranked and recognized at the TiECON Atlanta, the annual entrepreneur conference hosted by TiE Atlanta, on Sept. 28th at The Hotel at Avalon in Alpharetta, GA.
