New Club Offers an App to Trade-In Luxury Shoes
I would love to live in a world where Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin sell their shoes in the double-digit price range, but until then, we fashionistas are sometimes forced to get creative to strut the streets in style. Luxury Shoe Club got creative to help us. In this club, there may not be lights and music, but the discounts offered by the Luxury Shoe Club are worth throwing a party for.
Luxury Shoe Club has launched a new membership club app that allows users to trade-in their gently-used designer shoes. Instead of cash, this club operates with Club Points, so it may not be for those looking to make a little extra money on the side.
The U.S. women’s luxury shoe market accounts for $8.6 billion annually. Over the past five years, the average price of women’s designer shoes has surged to $770 a pair. Now, with this new fashion technology, women can buy designer shoes for a fraction of the average price.
Some of the other perks offered by the Luxury Shoe Club include up to 90% discounts on designer shoes, home pickup, cobbler service certified by Louboutin, and free shipping.
As of right now, club services are only available through the app, but their company website explains the logistics of membership. Specifically catering to shoe-lovers, Luxury Shoe Club also requires an annual membership fee in order to participate in its club activities – the three tiers of membership being Intrigued, Passionate, and Obsessed.
LSC has also coined the term “Shoelanthropy” because a portion of all membership fees help women get back on their feet. So, you can feel good about what you are putting on your own feet.
