Hers Celebrates New Fashion & Beauty Edition

Hers celebrated its new Fashion & Beauty Edition on Thursday night at the AC Hotel Buckhead, Atlanta.

Fashion editor, Courtney A. Hammonds, welcomed nearly 75 guests before explaining how the vision for this new edition was hatched and ultimately executed. He introduced some members of the fashion team, including Michelle Lynch, creative director, Selena Hulett, style consultant; and Sergio Cervantes, social media manager.

Ever upbeat, Hammonds left guests with inspiration to pursue their own dreams while explaining how the cover concepts for plus-size supermodel Emme and designer Mimi Plange occurred. Afterward, the editor, Annette Johnson, elaborated on the magazine’s mission and explained the vision for the fashion and beauty edition, which includes two editions per year: April and October.
